Softline announces the opening of a new representative office in Dhaka, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. This is a logical step as a part of the corporate strategy for the expansion of business in countries of Asia.
The IT market of the Republic of Bangladesh is one of the most quickly growing in South-East Asia. The main tasks of the branch will be developing such lines of businesses as cloud technologies, cybersecurity, digital transformation of the governmental institutions, and smart city IT solutions.
Softline has already started actively working in the local market. Within the framework of Russia-Bangladesh IT Summit 2018 organized jointly by Softline, ICT Ministry Bangladesh and Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, Softline experts presented their reports, participated in plenary discussions, and had a number of meetings with the representatives of governmental institutions and large private companies of the Republic of Bangladesh. As a result of these negotiations, the parties have determined the priority directions of joint projects and outlined the action plans for their implementation.
