Allcargo’s management were on an important inflection point in their journey with the expansive business growth. As part of this, Allcargo IT team was focusing on their next phase of technology investments to ensure that it was future proof and aligned to the end state referential architecture, providing flexibility, scalability, availability while continuing to ensure security and data integrity.
Noventiq partnered with Allcargo in their cloud journey, to migrate the complete workloads in 2 of their data centers from on-premises setup to MS Azure.
Key Drivers for change
Allcargo's IT infrastructure was operating on a distributed data center architecture which had its own challenges associated with ensuring keeping hardware and software upto date in terms of versions. Additionally, they were looking for reliable, scalable, secured and flexible solution on pay as you go model avoiding upfront capex investments.

As part of the data center transformation project for Australia and South Africa, Noventiq helped to migrate 120 critical servers, 30+ database servers within a 12-hour framework, helping realize the vision of the Allcargo IT team.
Allcargo deployed Disaster Recovery (DR) within Azure for both these regions, ensuring that all necessary backups were being taken in accordance with Allcargo's compliance requirements. Noventiq also deployed and implemented Bastion services to provide individual user access to machines and made optimum use of Azure services to improve Allcargo’s flexibility and scalability significantly.
