Noventiq performed Microsoft SAM CyberSecurity project for the HR company ManpowerGroup Russia & CIS. Following the results of the project the level of maturity of SAM CyberSecurity processes of the Customer was highly evaluated, and the level of IT-assets management was reported as rationalized.

Situation

ManpowerGroup Russia & CIS provides effective solutions and services in HR management area. The company has more than 800 clients in Russia and the CIS; many of them are included into the list of the biggest corporations of Fortune magazine.

The IT-service of ManpowerGroup Russia & CIS had the tasks to perform scheduled examination of the infrastructure, reveal potential risks to corporate data safety, and evaluate the correctness of IT-assets management. Within the frameworks of the program Microsoft SAM Services company Noventiq was selected as a partner, as its specialists possess required expertise and competencies to fulfill the activities targeted to improve the quality of the software use.

Solution

Noventiq specialists analyzed IT-infrastructure in the subdivisions of the Customer within the territory of Russia and the CIS using the solution Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit. In total 250 work-stations were included into the project. The extent of correctness of the use of Microsoft software was defined. Noventiq experts evaluated the strategy of safety assurance considering the operation of personnel, processes and technologies. Company’s employees were interviewed and IT-systems were tested.

The personnel of ManpowerGroup Russia & CIS regularly process personal data and work with confidential information. The access to corporate resources of the company is also enabled from mobile devices. In this respect to guarantee data safety the Customer was recommended to use the solution Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS). It provides the IT-specialists with the tools, required to protect and comprehensive information management not only in the local infrastructure, but also in the cloud.

Results

“Following the results of the project the level of SAM processes maturity in ManpowerGroup Russia & CIS under the criteria of CyberSecurity was defined as high, and the level of IT-assets management as rationalized.
