Background
Noventiq has been successfully implementing projects based on solutions created by Vizorlabs using Microsoft Azure platform for almost three years. Over time, the developer had a need for an in-depth analysis of the health of this cloud infrastructure and assessment of all costs associated with its operation. More than 300 services are available in the Azure environment today. To track the new cloud services, understand their features, control changes in rates, costs, and so on, you need proficiency in Microsoft technologies. That is why "Vizorlabs" turned to SNoventiq.
Noventiq and Microsoft have been collaborating for more than 25 years. The company received the most prestigious vendor award and holds the top partnership statuses, including exclusive partnerships. At the end of last year, Noventiq received the international status of Azure Expert MSP confirming the ability of the provider to offer customers a wide portfolio of high-quality services based on Microsoft Azure. After certification the Azure Health Checkup service was added to the company's toolset, this service is designed to monitor the health of the cloud environment.
Solution
Noventiq offered Azure Health Checkup service for Vizorlabs. After connecting to the
Azure environment, the Noventiq Cloud Management platform traced the performance information and reported it to Noventiq experts. The experts evaluated the optimization of licensing costs, architecture, security and compliance of the cloud infrastructure with the current standards, the performance of the cloud environment and the cost of operations.
Results
“Thanks to the Azure Health Checkup service from Noventiq we can get detailed reports on the health of our cloud infrastructure. The drawbacks have been identified, and Vizorlabs IT staff will address them. For example, our computer vision solution required expensive virtual machines with GPU modules. The analysis revealed that these machines worked nonstop even when our customers were not using the services. Azure platform resources were wasted. In addition, Noventiq experts gave recommendations for strengthening the security measures. In particular, they proposed a proper role-based access model and
an on-premises infrastructure integration model. Finally, and I'd like to lay a special emphasis on it, the monitoring dashboards were developed to show compliance with
the safety recommendations", said Vasiliy Dolgov, General Director of Vizorlabs.
"As part of the ISV partner program, we are not just promoting solutions from Vizorlabs in the Russian IT market. Our staff help the company to systematize the architecture of applications, and build the expertise in the field of cloud infrastructure technologies. Thanks to this, our mutually beneficial cooperation is gaining momentum every year.
I am sure that the project we have implemented will continue to develop. And most likely, we will use new Azure services based on artificial intelligence instead of virtual machines in Vizorlabs solutions", - talks about the future plans Yegor Bavykin, Head of Azure Solutions Sales Group at Noventiq.
